True. I still find it humorous that he emerges from the house and rides to Bel-Air like nothing's happening, though.

It's like, "Yeah, I'm in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse, but now that I'm going to Bel-Air, everything's peachy."

So if you get bit by a vampire zombie, do you turn into a vampire or a zombie?

I would assume you also turn into a vampire zombie.

Zombies > vampires.

Well, I'd assume that one bite=zombie, but since it takes three bites to become a vampire, one would have to get bitten two more times while just a zombie. Then they'd be a vampire zombie.

Eh, zombies are pretty cool, but they're too slow. Vampires are better IMO, but not the Twilight variety, 'cause those ones are gay.

The Anne Rice-era vampires, meanwhile, were pretty much awesome.

GxD has a point, Zombies are pretty slow... unless they're Left 4 Dead zombies. Vampires can be awesome... actually all vampires that aren't from Twilight or that dumbass new Disney show "My Babysitter's a Vampire" are awesome.

Technically, the enemies in Left 4 Dead are infected with a virus; they're not true "zombies". The zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops, however, do run pretty fast in later rounds, which is definitely not akin to George A. Romero-era zombies.

True, true.

Although the zombies in remakes of classic Romero films, such as the Dawn of the Dead remake, seem to have some level of speed, which even Romero himself finds stupid.

Exactly. And considering that these words are coming from the master of zombies himself, that really speaks volumes. Zombies were never meant to be fast. They're meant to be slow, but numerous, as you usually never see a zombie on its own. They're pack monsters.
